1:10AM

so, I'm going to start posting as friends only. I really just like to know who's reading this. Doesn't matter who you are, if you're not friended. post. and yo uwill be. You'd have to really offend me to not get friended. (if that's a verb. if homework is a verb, this can be too.)
Actually, it's probably easier to just friend me. although posting here can't hurt, this entry will vanish into the archives eventually.

so, uh, I got this one from brandon, and, as you all know, I fully intend to respond. But... things like that don't always happen, now do they?

Post a comment and...
1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
4. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
5. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
6. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
7. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal.

"But he who has no confidence in the creative capacity of the masses and in their capability to revolt doesn't belong in the revolutionary movement. He should go to a monastery and get on his knees and start praying. Because he is no revolutionist. He is a son of a bitch." -- Sam Dolgoff
I think sam dolgoff was the NY anarchist who supported the MLCE, but I"m not 100% sure. nonetheless, I like this quote, and it would do for us(me) to remember this more often.

Google is God.
Let's start a Google/itunes random music cult.

Nicolas needs resources
Nicolas needs some help with existing database of the eurolinux petition.
Nicolas needs to check with Hayano-san the radiation level to which the components will be exposed at the ATF.
Mr. Nicolas needs to keep his mouth shut or his lawyer needs to quit lying about what is going on with the debates.
Nicolas needs a bit of motivation.
Nicolas needs to embody attitude and vitality while staying effortlessly focused and in control.
Nicolas needs to curb his temper as he has already had problems
Nicolas needs to know her.
Nicolas needs to write a bit about constraint programming.

hmmm... I seem to be quite the expert computer person...

I want to go to macalseter, not do this silly homework, and go to "tea" as a formality, in some nice clothes. and I really really have to get the nat. merit essay done. and I'm going to fail astro.
But this is all okay, because I"m going to go to macalester, and it's been raining, and this song makes me really happy.

http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2005/08/323813.shtml
that is a link to an article about a current tree sit in an old growth reserve in the Mackenzie National Forest. Loggers came and shot at the treesitters.
AND. in the Biscuit, freddies have been cutting support lines for pods, which could have killed a few people.
AND. in the Biscuit, also, a botanical reserve of rare trees that was studied by botanists around the world was completely destroyed. They "accidentally" mismarked the boundaries of the Fiddler sale to include this entire botanical reserve.

The world is so very fucked up.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!
this is worse than the ramones playing in a pepsi commercial, or the clash in some random car commercial.
*****************************************
I just saw, in a Toyota commercial, a flag flying, a red and black flag, the diagonal one. The revolutionary anarcho-syndicalist flag. The anarchist-communist flag. It had a Toyota logo. That is FUCKED UP. very very very fucked up. SICK!

CAFTA. It's like NAFTA, but worse. A way to fuck over even more poor people and countries. Wyden said that he will vote for it. Thus, rally at Wyden's office (700 NE Multnomah - it's near lloyd center) on thursday at 4:30. [for more info: http://jwjpdx.org/actions%202005/CAFTA/cafta062305.shtml]

12:06AM

I have a picture of the region they're logging at the biscuit. The most amazing part of it is the fog. fog is always so perfect. and, it'll still be there. they cut down all the trees, and the hill will still be there, with that same fog drifting over, but next time, it wll be just over stumps, over barren ground, or maybe a pice of trash drifting through the desolate landscape, left by some careless logger. the stream would still be there, runing sluggishly through a wasteland. But that fog, and that hill, would still be there, at least. I like the idea that it isn't just plants and animals that have value, but also the fog, and the hills and the streams. Is it still alive, when half of it's been taken away? What if that half is the plants, or the animals? A stream is alive, a mountain is alive. But how much is it really, when half of it's gone, when all the trees, and all the animals have been driven away?
